In spring 2012 it will again take place: now for the fourth time since 2004, in Sennfeld near Schweinfurt it will be, "Raise the curtain" for an extraordinary cultural and entertainment event. In cooperation with the County of Schweinfurt, the 4th International Vaudeville Festival will again present "Dirk Denzers Magische Momente" (Dirk Denzer's magical moments), world-class vaudeville shows, from the 3rd to 12th May 2012. Approximately 150 artists from all disciplines including magic, comedy, juggling, artistics and live music, will turn the Lower Franconian region into the artistic and cultural center of sophisticated and supremely entertaining vaudeville art. Dirk Denzer, who organizes the festival together with his dedicated team, promises to artistically renew the festival, and to get new artists under contract, who have not performed during the previous festivals.
Ten days long international top artists, comedians, contortionists and musicians from about 15 nations will inspire you with an ever-changing enthralling program. The festival includes classical, modern and avant-garde variety arts – all of them in-house productions of the artist and producer Dirk Denzer.
You can feel the great atmosphere of the festival under the giant 46 meter cupola of the festival tent with its four poles and the stands ascending up to four meters, where top artists mingle for a top class project. Up to 1.200 visitors are expected to join each show – this is a hardly seen dimension in the world of variety.
